SORILUX Foam takes time to work, so hang in there

SORILUX Foam is a different kind of topical, so it may not work as quickly as you’re used to. But it was shown to be more effective than placebo (foam with no medicine) in improving psoriasis on both the scalp and the body in clinical studies that lasted for 8 weeks.*

What is this "calcipotriene"?

Calcipotriene is the main ingredient in SORILUX Foam. It's called a "vitamin D analog," which means it's a synthetic drug derived from calcitriol, or natural vitamin D in the body. Researchers are not exactly sure how calcitriol works, but some studies suggest that it inhibits cell growth, which reverses the number of abnormal cells found in people with psoriasis.

Interesting stuff.
